about

Home's Embrace is the second in Golden Fable's series of monthly releases. The track is inspired by the approaching winter months, as we retreat indoors during the long evenings.

The b-side is a stripped back re-working on Armour, which originally appeared on Golden Fable's last album, Ancient Blue.

Track Name: Home's Embrace
Wrapped up tight
The cold draws in
We're blowing in the breeze
Lips glistening as we listen in
Hands around our knees

We know this road enough to call it our own
We know this road enough to call it our own

We're kept warm
By home's embrace
By home's embrace

Day breaks thorough
A knife in the chill
We see clearly again
The morning call
To one and all
Hear is calling my friend
Track Name: Armour (Alternative Version)
Come to my door love,
Come to my side and tell me of your failings,
I long to know.
Take off your armour,
No need to hide the heavy load you carry,
For you my ear.

Take off your armour let your guard drop down,
Take off your armour let your guard drop down.
No need to battle,

Spare me the blood and lay down all your weapons now,
Confide in me.
Though you are weary,
Come on release the heavy load you carry,
Cut loose and free.

Take off your armour let your guard drop down,
Take off your armour let your guard drop down.

Come to my door and tell me you’re failing,
Come to my door and let it all go.

Take off your armour let your guard drop down,
Take off your armour let your guard drop down.

Come to my door and tell me you’re failing,
Come to my door and let it all go.
